We know that we all carry a little idea in our head of what the “perfect” beach family session should look like. Maybe it’s golden light, coordinated outfits, big smiles from every kid… right?
But here’s what we’ve learned over the years: every family is different, every child is unique, and every day brings its own energy. And honestly? That’s what we love most.
This beautiful extended family gathered in Corolla, and from the start, it was clear: their love runs deep, their laughter is contagious, and their little ones had their own ideas about how the evening should go. Some were playful, some were cuddly, some were tired — and that’s just real life. And real life photographs beautifully.
We splashed in the water, snuggled in close, and took breaks when needed. What we captured wasn’t just a set of posed photos — it was a story. A chapter in their family's life. And those candid, in-between moments? They’re always my favorite.
